Climbing Marmalada in the Dolomites

Climbing Marmalada in the Dolomites

Italy - 2016

An adventure with my son Freddie to summit Marmolada, the highest mountain in the Dolomites. A mixture of walking on glaciers, via ferrata and an opportunity to visit some the old WW1 fortifications on route. It was a tough day which ended with the rescue of a group of walkers stranded without crampons on the Ghiacciaio glacier
