SIMPLE

The Ghandruk trail is a more leisurely experience, set in the foothills of the Annapurnas. The walking day is around 2-3 hours as the route meanders through local villages at a maximum height of around 2,000m.  The views of Annapurna are stunning whilst the accommodation is of a higher standard to the treks above, generally with ensuite bedrooms and more creature comforts such as hot water, electricity, and wifi!  There is plenty of time to visit the local temples and enjoy the hospitality of the village people.

Itinerary

• Day 1 - Arrival Day in Kathmandu

  Collected at the airport and taken to the hotel

• Day 2 - Drive to Pokhara

  Drive to Pokhara - 915m (7-8 hours)

• Day 3 - Walk to Kimche

  Pokhara- Kimche Village- Ghandruk (1950m) (2-hour walk)

• Day 4 - Walk to Jhinudada

  Ghandruk village trek - Jhinudada 1547m (3/4 hour walk)

• Day 5 - Walk to Tolka

  Jhinudada trek - Tolka (1700m)

• Day 6 - Walk to Dhampus

  Tolka trek - Dhampus (1876m)

• Day 7 - Return to Pokhara

  Dhampus-Phedi - Pokhara (1220m)

• Day 8 - Pokhara

  Sightseeing in Pokhara

• Day 9 - Drive to Kathmandu

  Pokhara - Kathmandu

• Day 10 - Departure Day

  Collected from hotel and taken to Kathmandu International airport for return flight
