Trekking around Manaslu

We set out to walk around Manaslu, at 8100m the 8th highest mountain in the world. In hindsight March proved too early in the treking season and an unusually long winter led us to be thwarted by the snow well short of the high pass Larkya La. At least we got to see the mighty Manaslu. It was great to be able to include my son William but sadly this turned out to be my last trek with my great friend Dougie Brown
