My first ever expedition and probably my most exhausting. Over 3000 kms with a determined group of soldiers we aimed to reach Istanbul in 28 days - to arrive on the anniversary of the Regiment’s formation and rendezvousing with a group cycling up from Cyprus. We did it but suffered many accidents, breakdowns and many stitches
